Building Surveyor – iCare Housing

This is a permanent role and a brilliant opportunity to join part of our team at iCare Housing.

Reporting to the Head of Asset Management the role will involve:

1. Ensuring all necessary property services are delivered to a high quality
2. Working with the repairs team on a daily basis with oversight where necessary on technical queries
3. Review of property surveys
4. Attendance at weekly contractor meetings
5. Supervision of ongoing maintenance works
6. defect diagnosis, snagging and tendering
7. Report and maintain accurate record keeping on stock where relevant

The ideal candidate will have: 

1. A building surveyor qualification (or similar)
2. Experience in construction works
3. An understanding or experience of social housing
4. Strong reporting skills and good communication and diplomacy skills
5. Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
6. Strong computer and administration capabilities

Salary Range: €40,000 – €60,000 depending on experience.
