Our Board Members bring a broad range of expertise and experience which includes a number of members who have significant experience advocating for and providing services to those struggling with debt. Our board’s expertise ranges from customer service, to finance, legal and property services as well as corporate governance. The Board also consist of a number of housing specialists who are leaders in their area. The Board is responsible for:

  • Setting the strategy for iCare Housing risk control and management.
  • The achievement of the objectives and performance targets.
  • Ensuring effective systems of governance and internal control.
  • Ensuring that all business within Icare Housing is conducted in accordance with the constitution and the relevant legislation and standards set by our regulators.

We continually review and improve our governance standards in line with best practice in our sector, as well as working with our regulator to ensure we continue to meet our statutory obligations.

iCare Housing is an Approved Housing Body and is regulated by the Regulation Office, which operates within the Housing Agency. Among the many requirements for  Approved Housing Body status iCare must be a not for profit entity and we have no profit motive in any of our activities and are precluded from profiting from any activities.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
